HemaQuestTM is a Seattle-based biopharmaceutical company developing proprietary small molecules targeting specific genes that enable the treatment of serious and life threatening hematologic disorders. Currently, the Company has two therapeutics in Phase 2 clinical development - HQK-1001 for hemoglobin disorders such as sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia, and HQK-1004 for viral-related cancers. It was founded in late 2007 by leading hematologists with funding from top tier investors, including De Novo Ventures, Forward Ventures, and Lilly Ventures, In 2010 they were joined by additional investors, Aberdare Ventures and Latterell Venture Partners.
