HemaQuest is developing a proprietary multi-drug therapeutic approach for treating viral-associated malignancies. Initially, the primary focus is Epstein-Barr virus associated lymphomas. The company has issued and pending patents that cover the use of a wide range of HDACi’s in combination with antiviral drugs for the treatment of these viral related malignancies. HemaQuest has demonstrated proof of concept in clinical studies which validates the efficacy of this approach and is currently in discussion with potential partners to license or co-develop this technology.
